Hi
We thought about exhibits like this but in the end it never came to anything because of cost and we share a building with Museums. Instead we support National Science Week. We buy in exhibitors and work closely with the science arm of Derby Uni to stage a Fun Family Science day. Its hands on fun for young kids. We are doing it this year. Last time was a few years ago and we got 2000 which was a lot for a comparatively small library

Subject: Hands-on Exhibits in Libraries
Hi there all,
I wanted to ask this list if anyone has heard of in the UK (or further afield) of any projects that involve putting hands-on science exhibits, into libraries. The sort of exhibits I am talking about are the ones you might find on a trip to a science museum or centre. We are looking at doing this for a project and wanted to see if it is something that had been done before?
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
