Welcome to 2012 . Here are 12 ideas fro you to explore.

1.       The start of the new year was ushered in by firework displays around the world relive them on the telegraph website http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/8986857/New-Year-celebrations-2012-firework-displays-around-the-world.html. Find historic films and recordings on the British Pathe Film website.  See the celebrations from 1963 http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=42906 . 2.       Go further back in history by searching the marvellous Connected histories website. (note that some items have full text limited to subscribers only). 3.       See front pages of newspapers from around the world today on the newsmuseum website. 4.       Enjoyed too much music at your new year party try the sedate sounds from the Library of Congress national jukebox. 12.   Finally resolutions.
