Dear Charlotte,
(and others who might find this useful):
try Medienport; http://www.sz-archiv.de/sueddeutsche-zeitung-archiv/onlinearchive/medienport-ubersicht
It features SZ and many other important German newspapers in electronic form (not BILD, though, I think).
Part of it is for free, for some part of it they charge a (moderate) fee.
Best wishes,
Karina

Subject: Re: Electronic newspaper archives
Dear Charlotte
The German Historical Institute in London has electronic access to the
FAZ archive, which I've used before. Unfortunately they don't have
access to the SZ-Archiv, I don't think.
best wishes
Craig

None are available in the UK via NEXUS, however I know FAZ and SZ have their own electronic archives (FAZ-Archiv and SZ-Archiv). Does anyone know of any library in the UK or Germany which has access to these archives in electronic form?
