Our Global Pharmaceutical client urgently requires an experienced clinical SAS Programmer to be based with them on a 12 Month+ rolling basis - This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading pharmaceutical on a very stable contract - They do anticipate this contract to last for 3 - 4 years, with a rate increase on an annual basis.
CONTRACT: Lead Programmer
Length: 12 Months+
Location: South East, UK
Rate: £50 - £55 P/H
Provide an advanced level of SAS programming activities for the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of clinical trials and will deliver against the overall protocol timelines and quality goals within the study teams.
At least 5 years of SAS programming experience in pharmaceutical and/or CRO environment
Very good SAS programming knowledge (Base SAS, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/STAT, macro programming, reporting, SQL),
A sound understanding of basic statistical principles and the basics of statistical programming
Knowledge of the data management process in clinical drug development
Expertise in working with pooled, safety and efficacy data
Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical drug development process and GCP requirements
