The theme for our January meeting is intranet innovations, so come with ideas and examples, and be prepared for our usual hearty discussions. We have two very interesting innovations being highlighted by UK award winners from last October’s prestigious Intranet Innovation Awards:

Sharon O’Dea will show us how in the judgment of the IIA panel “The UK Parliament cleverly mobilised its intranet in a way perfectly suited to the working styles of the Members of Parliament who are often on the go”

Adam Pope will take us through Arup’s Amazing Race microsite which “records the progress of teams in an internal charity and fitness event called the Amazing Race, which benefits the firm’s chosen charity SportsAid”

It should be a fun afternoon to chase the gloom of midwinter away, as well as offering the all-important ROI on your time! Timing as usual: Networking over hot drinks from 14:00, presentations and discussions 14:30-17:00

Woburn House is on the North side of Tavistock Square, ten minutes walk south from Euston station. From Euston or Euston Square tube stations cross Euston Road, turn left then first right into Upper Woburn Place, walk for 5 minutes and you are in Tavistock Square – hard on your right is Woburn House.


If you are involved in intranets and would like to meet your colleagues, this informal forum is for you. Not only will we have two presentations of successful recent launches: there will be open sessions to raise any intranet issues you would like to seek advice on, and plenty of opportunity to network. We will also be discussing events for January, March and beyond.
