Science Projects Officer
Science Oxford is seeking to appoint a new Science Projects Officer, primarily to help deliver our programme of shows and workshops in primary and secondary schools in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and West Berkshire as well as schools visiting Science Oxford Live.

We are looking for someone to enthuse and motivate pupils and enhance their learning in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) by delivering activities both in schools and at Science Oxford Live. They need to be educated to at least 'A' level or equivalent in science (degree preferred but not essential), with some prior experience of working with young people as a science communicator or in a similar role.
This is a full time appointment, for a fixed term of 1 year in the first instance, with a salary of £18-20K p.a. Part-time or term-time working (salary pro rata) will be considered for the right candidate. A car and full clean driving licence are essential to fulfil the role, as it will involve travelling to deliver activities in schools.
