I've only been there once, when I was about 7, we went by steam from Snow
Hill if I'm not confusing memories, I think it was on the GW line from the
old Snow Hill station. It seemed quite drab, but we were still in the
shadows of the Nineteen Fifties then. Must visit it again. And intone!!
One thing I can say about Hill is that he's one of the few contemporaries
some of whose lines I have by heart.
