I am not sure if this is still the case but I remember when Moodle 2 first came out reading that it does not support Meta Courses, hopefully someone on the list can confirm if this is still the case.

Subject: [MOODLE-UK] All meta courses hiddin after upgrade to 2.2
I've went through a test server upgrade from 1.9>2>2.1>2.2 and everything has went fine...except...
We use meta/child courses to display units but since the upgrade only the top level courses is available to students i.e. the HND all the meta course(units) are 'not available to students', which means I would need to go into every course and set this to 'available'. A few thousand units so a good few days of tedious work!
Has anyone else had this issue or is there a way to set all the courses to 'available'?
