Dear List members
The list is set like this, as the main function of the list is a discussion list for the whole membership to benefit from. Personal conversations can be continued off list as the option is available to return replies just to the sender, leaving the choice with the respondent, just think who you are replying to before pressing send.
The web page of the list is here if you wish to change your settings, look at archives and store files.

At the risk of being boring, can I comment that the settings on most other jiscmail lists default to reply to sender, not the whole list. This makes it easier for members to avoid sending personal communications to the whole list.
Best wishes, Alison

Thanks Carolyn
Really sorry to all-classic mistake-I started this in error last night-problem of doing emails late at night-had thought I was replying to an email instead of list.
Also had not intended to campaign through this list so that was inadvertant too.

A gentle reminder for all to ensure that your personal communications are not directed to the whole list...
