Hello all,
Following on from the CoFHE LASEC Web Safety event<http://communities.cilip.org.uk/blogs/cofhelasec/archive/2011/10/16/web-safety-how-colleges-and-universities-are-tackling-it.aspx> where we discovered that some colleges are including web safety as part of their inductions, are creating web safety sections in their vle and/or are producing written guides and agreements, I would like to find out what other colleges are doing.
The college I work in already have interactive guides and a prepared web safety induction and we are in the process of creating material for the VLE.
Could you answer the following please?
* Do you already support web safety in your library or college, and if so how?
* Do you have plans to do anything further?
I will collate the results for everyone as I know it is quite a popular topic at the moment.
Thank you
Sarah
