Good Morning,
I have received several request for me to share the ideas I received to my original message, so here is a list of the activities that are being carried out in other libraries:-
Posting messages on a library home page or latest news page
News Blog
Twitter
Dedicated webpages for access issues
E-mails to other library staff so that they can inform colleagues in other departments eg: teaching academics
Thanks again to all who replied. I hope you will find this list useful.
Regards
Kerry

Subject: Communicating e-journal access problems
Good Morning,
I am trying to find out how other libraries communicate e-journal access problems to their users. At Southampton we have a dedicated webpage for these types of messages but I would like to know if there are other methods that are successfully being used elsewhere.
With thanks for any suggestions.
Kerry
