I don't know about everyone else, but our problems are getting worse - trying to open an article on campus, using IP authentication not Shibboleth, I'm getting "Sorry, your request can't be processed due to a system problem. Contact the Help Desk if the problem persists. [SD-008]"

Thanks to everyone who's mailed me. I'll get back to you individually,
but in the meantime here's a summary:
A number of people are getting the invalid username/password error
message after logging in through their IdP, while others aren't getting
that far (timeout or the browser-post location unavailable) and now also
"Sorry, your request can't be processed due to a system problem. Contact
the Help Desk if this problem persists."
Logging with a WAYFless URL seems to work, as does logging in from a
particular article's page.
From the way things are changing, I think it's pretty safe to guess the
problem's being actively worked on....
