The collation of data generally around disability in all sectors is one fraught with difficulty. In NZ we have simple self idrentifcation on registration and students are asked to identify support needs to enable better access to education. Most tertiary institutions now do this. Information based on type of impairment tends to be less helpful but is collated bygovernment in census. We are about to address data in health where disability data is relatively absent
It will be good to hear what methods you choose

Subject: Faculty with Disabilities Surveys
Aloha Everyone - we are interested in doing a survey to collect basic data
about faculty with disabilities at the University of Hawaii. Has anyone
conducted such a survey at their university that they would be willing to
share? Please email me directly. Thank you! Megan Conway [log in to unmask]
