AstroFIt "ASTRONOMY FELLOWSHIPS IN ITALY" 1st Call
The National Institute for Astrophysics is pleased to announce the
launch of the AstroFIt Programme, in co-funding with the European
Commission's 7th Framework Progamme, under the Marie Curie Action
COFUND. The programme offers seven transnational grants enabling
researchers from abroad to carry out a project in one of the INAF
structures in Italy, for a period of two years.
Research Areas: galaxies and cosmology; stars, stellar population and
interstellar medium; Sun and solar system; relativistic and particle
astrophysics; advanced technology and instruments.
AstroFIt call 1, funds:
- n. 3 Incoming Mobility fellowships
Applicants must have not resided or carried out their main activity in
Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the
call deadline.
- n. 4 Reintegration Mobility fellowships
Applicants must be Italian nationals who have carried out research in a
Third Country[1] for at least 3 years in the last 4 years prior to the
call deadline.
To be eligible, researchers must be holders of a doctorate or have at
least 4 years of research experience.
