Just a note on terminology. Nick initially referred to "Linked Open
Data". The key word is "open".
If a licence involves payment, it's not open.
If a licence is revocable, it's not open.
If a licence isn't applicable to anyone who wants to use the data ("
which aggregators to share with (if any)"), it's not open.
There's a place for non-open licences, commercial or otherwise (I'll
take it that the arguments pro and con are well known to everyone
here), but it's important to use the word "open" properly, per
<http://opendefinition.org/>:
“A piece of content or data is open if anyone is free to use, reuse,
and redistribute it — subject only, at most, to the requirement to
attribute and share-alike.”
Season's greetings,
