Subject: Lecturer Position in Anthropology with Tourism Focus
Hello Tim and Melissa:
My department is doing a search for a Lecturer in Anthropology with a focus
on tourism. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal, and
the possibility of it becoming a tenure track position depending on the
success of our university's new degree in Tourism & Hospitality. I will be
the faculty coordinator for that program, which is currently being reviewed
for approval.
I have attached the position description, and wanted you to feel free to
forward it to recent PhD graduates, students who are nearing completion of
their degrees, etc. We are mainly focusing our search on the northeast since
we are limited in terms of travel funds for interviews, and have no
relocation funds at this time. But we are open to candidates outside of this
region with those caveats in mind.
Any questions can be directed to me at [log in to unmask]; I will be
acting as search committee chair.
Thank you,
Kreg Ettenger
