Hello MCG,
My name is Ashley Harper and I am with the Historical Society of
Pennsylvania (HSP). We are currently trying to create a digital project, on
political cartoons from the 19th and 20th centuries, that has an innovative
element. This innovative element is most likely an interpretive element
that serves online users.
We are in a situation where we have a very short window to pull together a
project that builds upon our digital library. What that means is we would
digitize our political cartoon collection and have it available on our
digital library database. We are looking for ideas from history/arts
institutions. *Any ideas about innovative technology, open source data,
mobile apps, etc that you are working on or can think of?* For those of you
still reading feel free to see below a brief outline of our project points
so far.
*Digital Project*
*Subject matter:* Political Cartoons
*This builds upon:* our digital library launched this year:

I know we have a lot of work to do here to get a project ready but any
thoughts you have or maybe something you have come across is a welcomed
input!
Cheers,
Ashley
