Hi
We are about to purchase Royal Marsden Procedures and network it within the Trust we serve.
The licence contains a clause relating to clinical governance issues around the procedures and the assistant director of nursing I am dealing with has made the following comments:
"We were thinking that it would be impossible to go through each procedure and compare it to our current ones. Therefore we thought it would be easiest to have some sort of
disclaimer when you go into it that says you need to check agreed clinical guidelines and procedures on the intranet.
In that way - I guess no-one has responsibility.
Do you know who has responsibility in other Trusts?"
I would be really grateful if anyone who has purchased the procedures recently could comment on who took responsibility for this part of the licence and on the implications of
using the procedures in relation to local clinical guidelines.
Happy New Year to everyone on the list.
Best wishes
