SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics)
“We are delighted to join CLOCKSS,” states SIAM’s Publisher, David K.
Marshall. “Librarians want a guarantee that subscribed or purchased content
will be available in perpetuity. In addition, SIAM wants its authors to
know that their articles and e-books will be digitally preserved.
Partnering with CLOCKSS ensures that both of these goals will be met – now
and forever.”
In addition, SIAM has been elected to a seat on the Board of Directors
of the CLOCKSS Archive. David K. Marshall will serve as the representative
from SIAM starting in January 2012.
About SIAM: SIAM exists to ensure the strongest interactions between
mathematics and other scientific and technological communities through
membership activities, publication of journals and books, and conferences.

UKSG (UK Serials Group)
”Our handbook and journal provide practical support, strategic insight
and valuable cross-community discussion,” comments Hazel Woodward, Chair of
UKSG’s Publications Subcommittee. “They have foreseen, debated and
documented the immense changes in the knowledge community over 25 years.
It’s important that this ongoing dialogue is preserved, to inform future
developments; CLOCKSS provides us with a simple, cost-effective and
community-oriented way to guarantee that long-term record.”
About UKSG: UKSG exists to connect the information community and
encourage the exchange of ideas on scholarly communication. It is the only
organization spanning the wide range of interests and activities across the
scholarly information community of librarians, publishers, intermediaries,
and technology vendors.

Society for Leukocyte Biology
Jennifer Holland, Society of Leukocyte Biology Executive Director, said,
“The Society for Leukocyte Biology recognizes that the information
community needs a permanent archive to the electronic content published in
Journal of Leukocyte Biology. The goals of the society are to advance the
discipline of leukocyte biology through the efforts of researchers and
their scientific endeavors. The partnership between CLOCKSS and SLB will
provide our researchers and the users of the information with a security
and confidence that the access to this information will be there for future
generations.”
About the Society for Leukocyte Biology: The goals of the Society are to
promote the discipline of leukocyte biology by promoting research and
scientific endeavor in the field; promoting the study of leukocyte biology
by young investigators; promoting the field to a wide audience, including
other scientists and people interested in science; promoting and extending
current understanding of the importance of leukocyte biology, particularly
in regard to the physiology of these cells and their relationship to the
immune system; and promoting education and further understanding of
leukocytes' importance in disease and their application to biotechnology.

Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB)
“Our readership: the researchers, scientists and librarians, want to
know that access to the online content of The FASEB Journal will be
available to future generations. CLOCKSS is a recognized leader for the
preservation and archiving of journals which makes them an excellent choice
as a partner for long-term preservation and access to our content,” said
Jennifer Pesanelli, Deputy Executive Director for Business Development and
Director of Publications for FASEB.
About FASEB: Founded in 1912, the Federation of American Societies for
Experimental Biology (FASEB) was originally created by three independent
scientific organizations to provide a forum in which to hold educational
meetings, develop publications, and disseminate biological research
results. What started as a small group of dedicated scientists has grown to
be the nation’s largest coalition of biomedical researchers, representing
24 scientific societies and over 100,000 researchers from around the
world. FASEB is now recognized as the policy voice of biological and
biomedical researchers. http://www.faseb.org
