UKSG and NASIG (North American Serials Interest Group) are seeking applicants for the 2012 John Merriman Award. The award is a conference-swap enabling a member of each organisation to attend the other's conference. It gives people working at a practical level in library and information services a chance to learn and share experiences at either the UKSG Annual Conference (Glasgow, Scotland; 26-28 March 2012) or the NASIG Annual Conference (Nashville, Tennessee; 7-10 June 2012). Both conferences offer a fantastic programme of social events to balance the intensive flow of information and ideas during the formal programme.
The John Merriman Award provides:
£2,000 ($3,000) for each winner to cover the cost of travel and the winner's choice of accommodation Full registration at the respective conference, including most meals The UK delegate is generously sponsored by Taylor & Francis Group To apply for the Award:
