Hi both,

There used to be a requirement to submit the PPDP within 6 months of registering, but this is no longer the case. You just need to let Cilip know that you've completed one and who your mentor is. The initial PPDP is a discussion document to be reviewed between you and your mentor. An updated version to show progress and any future objectives then gets submitted with your final portfolio.

Qualifications Department have put together an easy 5 step guide to Chartering at the following page:

http://www.cilip.org.uk/jobs-careers/qualifications/cilip-qualifications/chartership/pages/stepguidecharter.aspx but you should also read the handbook for finer detail.

Hope that helps but if you have any other queries, you have myself and other Candidate Support Officers to fall back on.

Thanks

Franko

hi Eleanor,

I have to say I've just started as well and have found getting information a real struggle... you're PPDP needs to be submitted within 6 months of you're starting Chartership.

good luck with it!

Hi there

I have recently began my Chartership and have been reading up on what completing such a qualification entitles which I must say has been a bit of a minefield. I have put together my PPDP and my mentor mentioned that it needs to be sent off to Cilip within a certain time of starting the Chartership. Does anyone know how soon that is?

I am based in the north east and have been trying to find out about local support groups/contacts for those completing Chartership and would be grateful for any information.

Eleanor
