I'm not sure Ezetimibe is actually any use at all, and suspect it is
commonly used to chase a number.
I think that few people's lives, or their carers' days are improved by
a stroke, so some anti-hypertensive treatment seems likely to be
useful until death is clearly at hand, provided no adverse effect is
being caused.
