Innovative Language Teaching and Learning at University
Enhancing the Learning Experience of Modern Languages through Feedback
Friday 25th May 2012, School of Modern Languages, University of Bristol
Following on from the highly successful ‘Innovative language teaching and learning at university’ organised in May 2011 by the University of Newcastle, the School of Modern Languages at the University of Bristol will be hosting a one-day conference on 25 May 2012 focusing on the role of feedback in the teaching and learning of modern languages. Feedback is at the heart of learning and teaching in Higher Education. It can take many forms, from traditional written corrective feedback to the use of new technologies such as electronic voting systems and discussion forums. And its effectiveness depends on a wide range of factors.
We welcome papers on any past, present and future projects or case studies focusing on innovative ways to provide and/or receive feedback in language learning and teaching in Higher Education
Abstracts are invited for presentations in a titled, single-spaced attachment of not more than 300 words in length, with name, address and affiliation in the body of an email to either Hélène Duranton, Jonas Langner or Gloria Visintini no later than Friday 27 January 2012.
