Hi, I would appreciate any insight on this
We have a couple of focal lesion patients with a rather interesting behavioural impairment
and we thought of doing a resting state scan on them. Then scan a group of age match controls.
Put all the scans into a concat ICA followed by dual regression. The aim is to be able to assess difference
in resting state between the 2 patients ans say 10 controls.
1) The tricky thing is the low number of patients (2), so I wonder whether there would be a way of comparing their networks with the control population of 10 people..
2) I also have another thought, how about if I take 4 or 5 resting state scans for each of the 2 patients-- this way can have 8-10 samples which I could 'treat' as an 'independent' measurement - I know this is a funny trick !
what you do think?
Thanks, David
