PhD opportunity for 2012 entry
Collaborative research with Spitalfields Music: Making community through
music
We welcome applications from students who would like to evaluate the
impact of the work that Spitalfields Music undertakes with local
community groups and schools as all or part of their PhD research.
Applications will be judged against all those applying to the School for
ESRC funding, with the best three applications being put forward by the
School for consideration by the London Social Science Doctoral Training
Centre for funding. The project will also be provided with additional
resources, training and opportunities from Spitalfields Music.
It will be supervised by Jane Wills (School of Geography, QMUL) and
Clare Lovett (Spitalfields Music).
Candidates should discuss their research proposal with Jane
