Hi Malcolm
That's interesting, as it differs from the advice they gave us - do you know if that is in the standard SP7 release, or part of HF1? If not, I will ask for an update to our call.
Thanks
Simon

Subject: Re: Problem with wiki building block causing group errors?
Roger,
This problem occurs because when third party code (e.g. a building
block) tries to persist a Group, the Blackboard wiki tool gets involved.
The Wiki tool runs with the permissions defined in the bb-manifest.xml
file for the third party building block. Unless this is very generous
with permissions the wiki tool will probably not have the permissions it
needs and throw an exception. If you have building blocks that create
Groups you'll need to watch out.
This still hits us on 9.1 sp6. I put a ticket in with Bb - they said it
is fixed in a rewrite/update to their wiki tool in 9.1 sp7.

Subject: Problem with wiki building block causing group errors?
Dear all
Does anyone recall a problem whereby the Blackboard wiki building block
caused errors in group functionality? When testing BB 9.1 SP6 for our
upgrade this summer we found that having the Wiki building block
switched on led to errors when trying to create or edit groups. When the
wiki was switched off the errors disappeared.
I think the problem has been fixed since the summer, but am just trying
to verify this.
Many thanks
Roger
