Emyr,
Good. You can trying fiddling about with those yum repositories for a
bit, but
those java packages are a nuisance. Below are some of my tricks to try
to solve it.
It was a long time ago, so I don't know how current these tips are.
There may be
a better way.
1) Get rid of several unwanted packages, before installing glite-CREAM:
# rpm -e --nodeps antlr
# rpm -e --nodeps gjdoc
# rpm -e --nodeps java-1.4.2-gcj-compat
2) Make sure these packages are installed before glite-CREAM:
A) java-1.6.0-sun-compat,
B) xml-commons-jaxp-1.1-apis,
3) Install ecj without sl-base repo:
/usr/bin/yum install -y ecj --disablerepo=sl-base
4) Install jakarta commons without sl-base
/usr/bin/yum install -y jakarta-commons-collections-tomcat5
--disablerepo=sl-base
5) Now install glite-CREAM.
This might work; it did for me, after great travails with the "gcj" java
compiler, which
is unwanted but comes with the standard install and ruins things in a
way that is
hard to understand, and even harder to explain.
Good luck,
Steve
