We would like to use the FieldMap toolbox with data from a 3T Philips Achieva. Any advice from groups that have already tried this with an Achieva 3T will be greatly appreciated.
For example, we are thinking of:
1. Setting up two gradient echo sequences with two different TE's and ask for real and imaginary images as output (under the Postproc tab). We will use the same geometry as that of the EPI scans.
2. Convert these four images (real and imaginary for each TE) to NIFTI and use them as input for FieldMap.
Would this be OK? When converting the real and imaginary images to NIFTI, should we go from DICOM to NIFTI or should we go from PAR/REC to NIFTI? Any Achieva-specific scaling issues that we should be aware of?
