OK, poetryetcites, next Saturday, 26th, I want everyone off the M25, the
M40 and the A40. Don't even think about it.
But you are all welcome to The Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon Rd from 3:30
for 4 pm, until 6 or when you have to leave. A Writers Forum workshop --
of which part will be handed over to our honoured guest Ms Jones who is
going to show us how to bake an apple pie --
no that's the next week...
Oh, yes, she's the poet.
Oh we like poetry.
Yes, there'll be Jill Jones' poetry as part of the otherwise _regular_
workshop. Regular going large.
What else there will be remains to be seen. It depends on and from who
turns up. I hope I'm there. I am hopeful Tina Bass will be there. And then
she and I will perform some of _Memory Fictions_ (as featured recently on
Sugar Mule) as well as our own solo writing
But I am reasonably hopeful of visual sonic and translation delights by
others; but I don't wish to tempt improvident domestic disasters
I shall probably innovate several times I get so excited
For those able to make it, the best way to get there is Kings X and a
number 63 bus to Bowling Green, walk down hill and go to the pub in front
of you especially if it's called Betsey Trotwood
If you have other ideas, hesitate before you try to get off at Farringdon
Station; it will almost certainly be closed.
Shepherd Neame is the brewery. It's very good beer.
