Hi Sue
I have posted this grief poem before but thought it would be good to post again. It is really for the normal grief process and is something that I give to people which sometimes is more appropriate than words. Not sure what to advise on murder, guess the emotions are going to be complex possibly like PTSD .
Best regards
Karen

Dear All,
just wanted to pass something by you all and ask if anyone else has ever encountered the same problem.
I saw a client yesterday who has just got over the death of her father which was particularly traumatic. when she came to see me she told me that a very close family friend of 30 years was found murdered last week - I was stunned and for the first time in my life - speechless!
I discussed all the usual things that we would discuss, but the impact of murder seems so much more profound than a 'normal' death.
So if anyone has any advice for me to pass on i would really appreciate it.
Many thanks
Sue
