Subject: Edexcel Video Recordings
Hi
Further to my previous message the requirement that it is mandatory to video record speaking and listening exams for Edexcel is in Edexcel's new 'Guidance and Instructions for conducting ESOL and ESOL for Work tests 2011 - 12' and 'Standards Verification Handbook 2011 -12'. My external standards verifier brought my attention to this. However the 'Instructions for Assessors' for the different sets of exams have not been updated and still say that the exam can be audio or video recorded. I am just emailing my standards verifier about this and about other anomalies.
Best wishes
Sue Mirams
