The Department of Economics has an opening for a tenured full or associate professor in Applied Econometrics, with a specialization in social issues. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in economics and must have a proven track record of publications in refereed journals commensurate with the position they choose to apply for. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong commitment to research and an extended teaching experience in applied econometrics.
The position involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching at the undergraduate level is mainly in French; teaching at the graduate level mainly in English. The candidate will be expected to participate in the national research pole (NCCR) LIVES on vulnerabilities and life-paths. She or he will also be expected to take a managing role in the Faculty’s Applied Economics Lab (LEA).
