This is an excellent initiative - thanks Mike for posting to the list.
China Clay working is still active, there are people within its
operations with a real desire to capture the knowledge still there in
those who have or still work in the industry. Some of us, working on
the Research Framework for the Archaeology of the Extractive
Industries, had a taste of the enthusiasm for the heritage of china
clay when we visited Wheal Martyn in July.
