The BBC Genome Project
Andy O'Dwyer, BBC Archives
The BBC is planning to publish online its broadcast history going back
to 1922 when it was founded. The objective over time is to allow the
public to search, discover and read about the BBC's output across
radio and television in novel and exciting ways. This presentation
gives in detail the background work that has gone into making this
happen including a pilot project involving key information from 2
years of the Radio Times being captured and made ready for the web.
