Sorry for the delay in responding.
With authors/contributors we've not modelled a difference between main/added entry, instead we simply have a bibo:authorList which links to a sequence, which in turn links to the contributors. This stems from our primary goal: a data model useful for our discovery interface (and hence linking to); we aren't attempting to be round-trippable with MARC 21.

Phil, I assume you are referring to the code... I would be interested
in a general statement of your approach, e.g. did you find it
necessary to maintain the difference between main entries and added
entries? Did you imitate/maintain the basic variable field structure?
etc. It seems to me that in terms of development there are still some
big questions that would be interesting to air.
