Hello,
I have come across a couple of mini discs (XL-II Maxwell 80 if that helps!), Mini DVs, and a DAT in one of our collections and we don't have the equipment to access the info stored on them.
I would like to have the data copied into a more accessible format, can anyone recommend a company/organisation for this? I found one company on the internet but am a bit wary about using companies that I know nothing about when it comes to archival material. I couldn't see on their websites whether this was a service the British Library or National Library of Wales might provide.
Alternatively does anyone know where I can purchase players for the tapes/discs? I know mini disc players are available but am not so sure about the Mini DVs and DAT.
Thanks
Eleanor
