Dear all,
As places are going fast, we would like to draw your attention to the only statistics course that we are running in November 2011 and the 2012's statistics courses. These are organised and run by the Statistics Courses Team at the UCL Institute of Child Health, Dr Angie Wade and Miss Eirini Koutoumanou.
Introduction to R for statistics analysis
8 November 2011; 10am to 4.30pm; Cost for non UCL/ICH/GOSH affiliated staff/students: £100
At this course the excellent, free statistical software R is taught. The course is suitable for people with no previous experience with R or similar packages. By the end of the course delegates should expect to know the following: how to read data files in R from excel, how to summarise and graphically display their data, how to re-code and edit their data, how to perform significance tests and how to download and use R libraries. Participants are expected to bring their own laptops at this course with R installed on them. Step-by-step download and installation guide is sent to all delegates on confirmation of registration.
