I heard it in the context of EMI releases rather than glite but I believe that no-one takes dcache from either release. They all take it from dcache.org.

Because I was curious, and in case anyone else is to, the Data Management services with the longer support window are:
FTA-oracle
FTM
FTS-oracle
LFC_mysql
LFC_oracle
SE_dpm_disk
SE_dpm_mysql
I note that the gLite dCache packages do not have the extended window, and will go out of support at the end of this month, along with everything else. However, I suspect that the dCache sites (RalPP and Imperial if memory serves) would be happy to, if not already, use the golden releases straight from the dCache guys. Rather - if that _wasn't_ the case already...
