Hi,
Sam is right; the basic idea was to interoperate SRM with SRM-based
grids by pretending that SRB was a "classic SE" and using AMGA to make
the additional SRB metadata available to the grid, and then move data
back and forth with FTS+plus+some+hacks+for+metadata.
I was told by the KISTI guys that they use AMGA quite a lot, and even
contribute to it, but I can't remember what they use it for. Maybe
worth asking them? Try Soonwook Hwang.
As I recall, Hydra was developed for the bioscience guys to be a secure
database for keys and suchlike, so they could encrypt their DICOM images
before losing them (er I mean letting them loose) on the Grid.
