Hi all,
I gave a talk on climate change recently to a WI group and they were great -
very interested, good debate afterwards - although no cake!!

Subject: Re: [PSCI-COM] Women's Institute audiences
In my personal opinion WIs are some of the most receptive audiences that I
talk to and I love'em. I always say yes to their invites and i give the
talks for free in my local area.
The two drawbacks are your expanding waist line, as you are force fed cake
and biscuits, and having to judge competitions.
I once chose the wrong knitted figure and massively offended the president
who clearly thought she should have one. I was also accused from the back
of the hall of "being into women wearing uniforms" and this was all before
the talk began, so beware!
