This from an image I just downloaded from Flickr
philb@shuttle:$ exif -l 4015001528_6e6cf39806_b.jpg
Corrupt data
The data provided does not follow the specification.
ExifLoader: The data supplied does not seem to contain EXIF data.
When I checked a load of image/pdf/video hosting services none of them
did much with embedded metadata. Some would use the date and camera
information on upload. One or two maintained metadata when you
downloaded the file. None would update the metadata (e.g. licence) if
you changed the corresponding information on the hosting site.
