Pete
I have a couple of very useful contacts in Radstock, both not on email; if
you would like to ring them I have phone numbers. Email me off list.
Also passed on your query to a few mining mates and they said:
"Check the George Watkins details in the NMR - SG has been doing so and came
across a picture of huish pumping engine in doing so GW may have written it
up to.
I have some of George Watkins notes on this location as well as a pic or 2
of his - if this is of interest please forward to them and ask them to
contact me directly.
I am assuming they have checked teh diagram and description in Down and
Warrington ( P197) it may be a bit more helpful than Occum and his razor"
I can scan the D&W page if you would like that too. It gives a good surface
plan dated 1900.
Cheers
Roger
