Has anyone come across anything about Noah Coward?
He was involved in mines at Constantine in the 1830's, and also with Thomas Teague of Redruth in the Gunnislake and former Tavistock Canal Co mines at about the same time. From some correspondence he seems to have been involved in many of the main Gwennap & Redruth mines at that time. I seem to remember something about him then going to South America.
He seems to have acted as managing partner at Gunnislake, although this was largely financed by Teague up until the latters death (I think 1839). Most of what I have found is in various papers surviving in the Stannary Court papers at Truro.
Alasdair Neill.
