Joyce Pearce Junior Research Fellowship in Development Studies (Refugees
and Forced Migration) at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, in conjunction with
the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford
Applications are invited for a three year fixed term stipendiary Junior
Research Fellowship, commencing in January 2012 or as soon as possible
thereafter. The JRF is funded by Ockenden International and will be
held at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, in conjunction with the Refugee
Studies Centre, University of Oxford.
Applications are invited from candidates from any relevant Social
Sciences background. The appointee will probably have recently
completed a doctorate or by very close to completion of a doctorate and
with a demonstrable commitment to the interests of refugees and forced
migrants and the aims of Ockenden International.
The JRF will be required to undertake a programme of research,
publications and teaching as proposed by him or her on application. The
research undertaken would relate to one or more of the following
countries - Afghanistan, Cambodia, Gaza, Iran, Pakistan, Sudan, Tibet,
Uganda ,Vietnam and Burma.
The salary is £18,190 plus free meals and accommodation at Lady Margaret
