		 Call for Conference Track Proposals

     Proposals for new conference tracks due by October 28, 2011.
				   
  WETICE is an annual IEEE co-sponsored International Conference on
  Collaboration Technologies and Infrastructure with its Proceedings
  published by the IEEE CS Press. WETICE-2012 will consist of a number
  of conference tracks (including a number of ongoing tracks) on
  various topics related to collaboration technology.  WETICE
  conference promotes fruitful discussions on the latest technology
  developments, directions, problems, and requirements. Each
  conference track will include paper presentations and group
  discussions. In addition, there will be keynote sessions and a final
  joint session to summarize each groups findings.

Proposals should be different from the Ongoing Tracks to avoid duplication.

Topics of interest

The WETICE 2012 Steering Committee seeks high quality conference track proposals related to all aspects of Collaboration Technologies and Infrastructures. 

Topics of interest are to include, but not limited to, the following:

Conference tracks proposal submission 

To submit your proposal send an email to [log in to unmask] or to [log in to unmask] with a two-page description including: 

* title and description of the track 
* name and contacts of the proposers 
* credentials of proposers 
* names of prospective program committee members and invited speaker(s) 
* relevance to the conference theme 
* strategy for recruiting papers 
* expected duration of the proposed conference track 

The proposals will be reviewed by the WETICE-2012 Steering Committee. 

Tasks of Track Chairs

Chairs of accepted tracks will be responsible for the following tasks: 

* developing the conference track web site 
* soliciting papers 
* forming scientific review committee 
* coordinating reviews (at least three reviews per paper are required) 
* corresponding with the authors and the WETICE organizer 
* writing of an introduction to the conference track to be included in the IEEE proceedings 
* conducting the conference track on the days of WETICE
