We urgently require Mathematics or Statistics graduates for a position as a
Technical Trainer with one of our most prestigious clients.
Candidates MUST have previous experience in training, presenting papers
and/or technical demonstrations in a classroom or customer environment and
be comfortable in working closely with clients. Applicants should also have
good general IT experience of operating systems (UNIX, Linux and Windows OS
environments preferred), computer networks and/or infrastructure.
Reporting to the Training Manager, the successful applicant will work with
the product development teams to become proficient with the Companyıs suite
of cutting edge software and deliver training courses to clients at the
Company's Edinburgh office, abroad, or in client premises.
Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the technical product development team to understand the
company software functionality.
* Become proficient in the companyıs suite of software and products.
* Assist in producing appropriate training materials make recommendations
for improvements.
* Assist with updating of manuals, documentation & procedures as required.
* Assist with the logistics of course and service delivery (e.g. configuring
machines, loading training data and materials)
* Deliver training courses with the aid of support materials to clients
* Liaise with clients before and after training course monitor and control
the level of client satisfaction.
* Liaise with all internal staff to ensure effective delivery of course.
* Continue to improve on the course materials and delivery.
Experience/ Education:
* Previous experience in training, presenting papers or technical
demonstrations.
* Good general IT experience of operating systems (UNIX, Linux and Windows
OS environments), computer networks and/or infrastructure.
* Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Earth Science, Engineering, or a
Computer Science / IT Degree.

* Basic salary is negotiable and based on the successful applicant up to
around £30k
* Daily out of office allowance of £125 for each day on customer sites away
