GP just rang about a 14 year old male with anorexia nervosa and a CRP of 115mg/L. All other tests are normal - FBC, EP, LFTs, CK, TFTs. No obvious history of inflammatory bowel of other inflammatory disease. Patient has a cold.
Has anybody any comments? Just a coincidence? or typical of anorexia nervosa?
