No it's not so many; not compared to what's going on. But the book's big
enough as an object. I am taking it to the writers forum workshop soon -
to show off, tho i deny it; and to see if anyone is interest in it as a
purchase -- and I know I am carrying it!
one at least will be interested but he probably knows about it
(mine arrived yesterday thrown over the gate at the side of my house - i
heard from UWE during the day that it was in the post so I knew to look...
this is to save the postman the trouble of taking it back if you're not
in. The book is the proverbial labour of love, carefully designed, well
printed, beautifully packaged, expensively post paid... and they throw it
over the gate into a yard where last week's garden refuse is drying in a
country where it rains between rain)
and thanks for the congratulations. really it's guy begbie. i am so lucky
to have him to work with and to thereby provide something to write about
i'm pleased to be in it... another notch on my college writings i suppose;
but more importantly it may bring more invitations... and someone might
read what i and others have wrote
[if anyone isn't going to buy it! but is interested to read my article,
email bc -- you'll miss the 8 i think colour studio shots but you can have
the words]
all the best to you Chris
I hope you are in reasonable health
i woke up to the radio today talking about the oceans - and the dangers of
mackerel feathers... that has always fascinated me as a phrase
onward and outward
