The Roadshow runs over three days but it is not necessary for participants to attend all the days in order to benefit.
Day One covers emerging trends and challenges associated with research data management and their potential impact on higher education institutions and will include present case studies illustrating these issues. Speakers will also explain the role of DCC, the portfolio of tools and services and how to comply with policy requirements and introduce the core principles for robust data management and planning.
Day Two builds on this and will include practical group sessions, including identifying first steps in developing an institutional strategic plan for research data management support and service delivery.
Day Three of the roadshow will focus on training and the widely praised Digital Curation 101 course, focusing on 'How to Manage Research Data'.
