Hi John et al,
Unfortunately GGUS seems to make no difference between NGS-IMPERIAL
which is a mythical site I have no knowledge of (we support ngs.ac.uk
at UKI-LT2-IC-HEP, but does that make us NGS_IMPERIAL ?) and 'real'
NGS sites, which presumably run NGS jobs. I certainly have never seen
a real NGS job around here, besides their monitoring jobs for which of
course we support their special monitoring VO. The NGS site described
for Imperial on the NGS webpages ceased to exist in 2009 and nobody
seems to have noticed.
There is no NGS site listed in the Early Adopter section and I was
asked explicitly by Mario David (who seems to be the go-to person when
it comes to staged rollout) to 'bring them(*) on board' after telling
him about my newly found calling as the Staged Rollout Enforcer.
According to him IGE (globus) is included in the last UMD 1.2 release.
I am going to submit to GGUS tickets to try and sort this out, do you
want me to cc you on them ?
(*) whoever uses globus
Cheers,
Daniela
